French Gel Manicure and Dip French Options
A French gel manicure gives you the same clean white tip look but bonds under a UV light for a finish that typically lasts two to three weeks without chipping. It's a good pick if you're hard on your hands. The dip French is another strong option — no UV light needed, and the color is baked right into the powder, so it doesn't fade the way polish can.
Both services are available at MT Nail Studio in Seattle, Washington. We'll walk you through the tradeoffs so you're not guessing at the chair.
Pink & White Full Set and Pink & White Fill
A full set pink and white uses acrylic or gel to build length and structure before the tip is finished. It's the go-to for clients who want French tips on short nails or want a more sculpted shape. Once you have a full set, we offer a pink and white fill to maintain the look as your nails grow — usually every two to three weeks.
Solar pink and white is a variation that uses solar acrylic, known for its durability and natural translucence. It's been around for decades and still holds up well for clients who need a tough, long-lasting set.
French Tips on Natural Nails
Not every client wants acrylic or gel. French tips on natural nails using a sheer pink base and white tip polish are still one of our most-requested looks. White tips done in regular polish need a good topcoat to last, and we use a long-wear formula that extends the life of the manicure by several days.
French manicures on natural nails work best when the nails are at least a few millimeters past the fingertip — we'll let you know at your appointment if the length is there.
