Sand Point sits along the western shore of Lake Washington in northeast Seattle. The area includes the Warren G. Magnuson Park waterfront, the NOAA campus, and quiet residential streets that back up against the water. It draws a mix of families, young professionals, and longtime Seattle residents who tend to take care of where they live and how they look. The pace is calmer than Capitol Hill or South Lake Union, but the standards are just as high.
The Pacific Northwest climate hits Sand Point the same way it hits the rest of Seattle. Long stretches of grey, wet weather from October through April dry out skin and wear down nail coatings faster than most people expect. Gel and dip powder hold up better through that kind of weather than regular polish. Come summer, Sand Point gets real sun off Lake Washington, and that's when clients want clean, polished nails for the beach days at Magnuson Park. We see both cycles every year.
